Wine Folly

This port is very similar to the description of port wines on page 154 of Wine Folly. It had similar fruit notes, particularly the sweet, dried fruit and chocolate. It didn't have a strong spice note, but everything else was similar.

Personal Review

It had a sweet smell like currant and dates. The flavor was a bit different, with notes of black cherry and plum instead of currant and dates, with an added note of chocolate. It was pretty good for the price, I'd recommend it if you like dark fruity ports.
